Kidnapped Lebanese freed

A Lebanese businessman kidnapped in the northern Nigerian city of Kano on Monday has regained freedom, police say. Hassan Zaid was kidnapped by unknown gunmen at his factory in the Sharada area of the state five days ago. Kano state police spokesperson Musa Magaji Majia said he was found abandoned on the outskirt of the city.
